Video Night at Helderberg 2011-03-10 – Screening Soloist

We all accept the fact that being a Christian demands that we get involved in the lives of those around us. We see the need and we have a lot of plans, but usually It is very easy to say that you are really going to get involved in some ones life, but getting involved is a bit more difficult. Have you ever experienced the frustration of trying to help someone, and ending up discouraged. Then you must join us at the Helderhoekie Familie-sentrum on the tenth of March 2011 at 18:30 for 19:00. We are going to watch the movie and then there will be time for discussion.

The Christian app I would rather skip!

Image found at The American Jesus.
You’ve probably heard: The Holy Catholic Church has blessed an iPhone App called “Confession”. If not, here’s the news link from the BBC.
Some of its features include:
-Custom examination of Conscience based upon age, sex, and vocation (single, married, priest, or religious)
-Multiple user support with password protected accounts
-Ability to add sins not listed in standard examination of conscience
-Confession walkthrough including time of last confession in days, weeks, months, and years
-Choose from 7 different acts of contrition
-Custom interface for iPad
-Full retina display support
This app is taking of like mad. Why go to church if you have a iphone.
